If you leave it to the men....
you might end up here for lunch.
After church, we met up with our
friends, Dan & Carol to celebrate
Dan's birthday. We had a good visit but I think Bobby ordered me a buffalo burger or some other kind of animal, as a joke because my burger tasted a little different. Bobby won't admit to it. Happy Birthday, Dan!!!

This is not my idea of shopping...
This is what happens when you go with Bobby and Padaddy to
the RV store. Thank goodness for the chairs they had on display!
Another blogger in the making...
Bobby spent the afternoon teaching Dad his first lesson in "Blogging 101". You can visit their blog page under our "friends" to see what they are up to.
Tan in a tube?
I would not normally draw attention to my legs, but
this stuff is great!! I was wanting to wear a dress without hose on
Easter but I didn't have time to tan. I bought this at Walmart and
in 4 days I had a tan.
Give it a try!!

You asked for it...
Some of you asked for the grape salad recipe that Mom made today.
Here it is..
Grape Salad
3-4 lbs. green and red grapes – wash and dry as best you can
Mix together and stir into grapes:
½ cup sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. sour cream
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Place mixture in 9 x 13 casserole dish; sprinkle 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup chopped nuts on top.
Note: In today's salad, I used Splenda instead of sugar, light cream cheese, light sour cream, and Splenda brown sugar.
Family Gathering at Easter
We are so blessed to be able to have almost all of both sides of our family live so close to us. (Bobby's sister Patti lives in CA) We all gathered at our home after church for lunch and games. Ping- Pong got a little bit competitive AFTER Dave put his glasses on and could actually see the ball! We always seem to have a great time together, way out here in East California. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with your family and friends.
Happy Easter
This morning Bobby and I went to church early to set up and help serve breakfast. We served about 300 members and people from the community.
Afterwards they had an egg hunt for the
kids with 6000 eggs.

We were happy that Kyle and Ashley chose to worship with us at FSBC Buckeye.

Camping in Parker, Az
We went camping just north of Parker last weekend. Our family, Baca and Padaddy, Aunt Jenni, and Kyle and Ashley all went. We had a fish fry every nite from all of the fish that Bobby and Jenni caught. ( yea, right ) Kyle and Ashley went on a Jeep ride with Padaddy and almost plummetted to the bottom of a gorge. Not to worry, they were in a Jeep and not in a Ford.
Here we go !!!
We are finally a "blogger". And to think we just got rid of our vhs recorder. What a week.
