Bowling for Free!

Our friends from the church sent us some info a while back for 2 hours of bowling, pizza and ice cream for kids. All for free, so we couldn't pass it up and I signed Tiffany up. Well, today was the day and I was pleasantly surprised! I have never ever bowled in my life, but I remember going to watch and coming out of the bowling alley smelling like cigarette smoke. I hated that! Well, now they are smoke-free, or at least this one was, and very nice. Tiffany bowled with the Speight kids and her friend Eunice, who lives down the street. Fun time!!

Uninvited Guest!!!

Yesterday, this big, black, hairy guy was right by the front door.

Happy Birthday!

Today is my Dad's birthday. Here he is sporting his Cardinal jersey that we gave him. While in Colorado, he had kids asking for his autograph. Hummm... Who did they think he was? (You can check out the story on their Summer '09 blog.)
Hope you have a great day!

Picture transfer findings

I don't like to have a lot of pictures on my camera disc, so I try to transfer them into all my picture folders on a regular basis. I came across this video that I forgot to post. Tiff learned how to do a back dive this summer.

Also, I came across these "model" pictures. I didn't know who took them and found out that Tiffany set the timer and posed for them. Does she pose when I want to take her picture? NO!

BLOW DRY

Happy Birthday!

Last night we met Nan, Charlie, Pam, Dave and Nathan at the Macaroni Grill to celebrate a birthday.

Today is Charlie's birthday!

Another Lake Day

We all went to the lake again today, minus Serena, Kyle and Ashley. This time, Stephanie, Alyssa, Hans, Jenni and Eileen joined us.

Last time we went to the lake, Rod was trying to play some basketball with his empty pringles cup, but not this time! He proudly carrried on his brand new floating basketball hoop and ball. Excitement was in the air as he put it together. It finally hit the water and everyone was having fun.....

UNTIL this happened.....

not long after it hit the water. Thank goodness it was him that broke the thing!! (Mental note for whoever has his name for Christmas.) It took a while for him to come up with a way to fix it, but somehow he got it working again. Not looking so good, but it worked.

A little mishap for the golden child, but we all seemed to enjoy the rest of the day together.

I always think it is interesting how these 2 get along so well. They have a special bond! The oldest and the youngest grandchild!
Hey Mom and Dad, we even spotted some wildlife!
Check out Bobby's blog for an interesting picture from the day. Somehow I missed that one!
