Monday, Day 3

Tiffany is trying again but nothing.

Bill and Chris are doing a lot of hiking and biking.

We had a miniature golf tourney tonight. Rod was the winner, Bobby took second and Bill took
3rd place. Great fun!!! (Check out Jenni's blog to see how I did)

We gathered in the motor home, closed all the windows and had our first kazoo practice for the parade. Just in case you can't tell, we are playing God Bless America on the video.

Bobby missed the kazoo practice. He was out fishing and caught 8 fish today.

Tuesday, Day 4

This afternoon we went horseback riding. As you can see by the pictures, Tiffany started out a little scared but she did a great job with her horse. Skeeball kept on wanting to stop and eat!

Here are the morning riders.

Today is Chris' birthday so we had homemade ice cream and brownies to help celebrate.
Happy Birthday!!

Tiffany is STILL trying.

Wednesday, Day 5

The golfers head out on the bus to play golf today. Bobby and Kyle's group won the tournament and the rest of our family's group took second.

We took turns on the paddle boats.

Kyle and Ashley went with Padaddy on a jeep ride to Creede and found some snow on the mountain.

It rained at the campground this afternoon so we stayed in and played some games. After the rain, Tiffany decided to try her luck at fishing again and finally catches her first fish, then that same day gets another. Yeah!!

This day also marked her last day of fishing. I guess that 2 was enough for her.

Thursday, Day 6

Bobby continues to fish daily and has caught a total of 28 fish.

We left for Creede this morning for a little shopping and for our white water rafting trip. We
floated down the Rio Grande. It turned out to be a great day on the river.

We returned home for dinner and sat around the campfire.

Friday, Day 7 4th of July

Today was a big day. We started out early this morning decorating the bikes and the Jeep for the parade.

This years parade was the biggest Fun Valley has ever had. Yes, Rod designed these shirts too. We had a lot of fun!!

View the parade below. After watching this, we could have used a few more practices!

After the parade we enjoyed our All American hamburgers
and hot dogs for lunch and played games.

Baca and the girls painted the rocks around the fire pit. Is this considered graffiti? Oh well!!

We had fun wading in the river.

Then after some shopping, we headed into town for dinner and fireworks. Notice we are wearing jackets and sweat shirts. How often does that happen?

Saturday, Day 8

Time to pack up and head home.

Home, sweet home.

After 1609 miles and 38 hours spent in the car over the week, we are back home safely. What a great week!!
