BBQ fundraiser

To help the kids go to summer camp, the kids at the church held a BBQ dinner. The menu was BBQ beef or pork sandwich, potato salad, chips and a brownie with ice cream for dessert. The kids waited on the tables and provided entertainment for the evening. Tiffany would be the shy one in the back barely moving. One of the highlights was a few of the adults pretending like they were on a roller coaster ride. Man, I wish I would have had my camera rolling when my Dad was up there. Funny!!


What a great night! Tiffany was able to raise enough money to pay for half the way to camp. I hope at the next fundraiser she earns enough for the trip back home. Thanks for your support!

Day spent with friends

Bobby stayed at home today because he was sick so I took Tiff and her friend Chelsea to Peter Piper Pizza after church today.


This is what you see on Flower St. when the weather is nice. Our street turns into one big playground. Lots of girls with their fun toys! Miley just sits and watches them go back and forth.

The Health Inspector came in this week and look what we got! We went from a silver to a GOLD! Can't get any better than that!!

She needs a name!!

WARNING.......

New school and new kids so I had to do the heart attack thing again this year. Not really what you want to see outside an eating establishment, but you get the idea.

These just in!

I just came from seeing the foot doctor. After another shot of cortisone, I walked away with these. My new orthotics!! I have been waiting for them because they were $400.00 and our insurance wouldn't cover them. In January, our insurance changed and covered them 100%. Yes!! I am excited to see if they help my feet. Hopefully, I can get back on the treadmill soon and start losing some weight and maybe take up playing tennis.

Superbowl Sunday

We went over to my Mom and Dad's again to watch the Cardinals play. This time, in the Superbowl! With Rod there this time, he kept us laughing with all his comments. Although they lost, it was an exciting game to watch. We even joined in this time. No, we didn't purchase Cardinal gear, but we did wear red. Even Miley was in red!
