Last time we went to the lake, Rod was trying to play some basketball with his empty pringles cup, but not this time! He proudly carrried on his brand new floating basketball hoop and ball. Excitement was in the air as he put it together. It finally hit the water and everyone was having fun.....
UNTIL this happened.....
not long after it hit the water. Thank goodness it was him that broke the thing!! (Mental note for whoever has his name for Christmas.) It took a while for him to come up with a way to fix it, but somehow he got it working again. Not looking so good, but it worked.
A little mishap for the golden child, but we all seemed to enjoy the rest of the day together.
I always think it is interesting how these 2 get along so well. They have a special bond! The oldest and the youngest grandchild!
Hey Mom and Dad, we even spotted some wildlife!

Well, now I really AM homesick! We love being in Colorado, but miss being with our family. Looks like everyone had a great time. Rod should know that's what happens when you try to slam dunk the ball!
