Olympic Withdrawal

Anyone else wondering what to watch these days? I miss the Olympics!! I loved watching our athletes doing what they do best.

Way to go, USA!!!

Good for America - but look at the Gold medal count - wow - China owned it - Daisey and I are proud to be part Chinese!! Ha!

How many of those gold medals went to the Chinese athletes who cheated and said that they were of age to compete? If their ages were right, good for them later in life but if not, shame on them!! Can you tell I'm still a little sore about that? You can still be proud though!

The other day, my friend and I were wondering what it would be like to have a year-long Olympics! Talk about grueling training and tired athletes, but you would have entertained (possibly lazy) viewers. Oh well, se la vie.

P.S. I am glad you commented, so I could find your blog!

I must admit, Daisey and I, both lie about our ages! Did I ever tell you about the fire that destroyed both of our birth certificates?

Did you know that Lacey Nyemeyer from Tucson, AZ is LDS? We have known her since she was 7.. not only is she a talented swimmer but was top of her graduating class despite her grueling schedual.. I am irritated because I never ever saw the Olympic tennis, did you? Oh well.. on to the US Open! :)

How did Lacey finish? I know she made it to the semi-finals.
When they showed highlights at the end of the games, I realized I missed a lot of events. Tennis must have been on in the middle of the night because I stayed up till 11:00pm watching every night.

Did you see the opening of the US Open when they announced all the past winners? That was neat!
