Stop and look!!
The one and only thing I enjoyed about the long drive to school last year was listening to 25 minutes of christian music and testimonies while watching the sunrise come up over the mountains. I thought I was going to miss all that with just a 2 minute drive but look what I saw today!! I turned the corner and there it was!! I am sure it has been there on the other mornings but my mind was focused on all the stuff I had to do at work. I had to pull over and take this picture and remind myself that sometimes the things that we miss have been right in front of us all the time. We just have to stop and look!!

I told my students yesterday that we need to see, smell, and hear the beauty of the world everyday - what a beautiful world God has created for us!! You are so right it is there everyday and so often we miss it because of "stuff" that gets in our way!!
I don't think I've seen a sunrise since Ellen and I stopped walking in the morning!
